What are the major strengths and weaknesses of the instructor?

1.   Great enthusiastic instructor
2.   The instructor didn't seem to understand the material well, and the course was terribly organized. However, the instructor was available outside of class time, and was very helpful in going over work individually.
3.   Dr. Riely fostered a learning environment like no other. It was fun and exciting to come to class, discuss, and participate in Dr. Riely's lectures.

What aspects of this course were most beneficial to you?

1.   Online recordings, suplementary reading
2.   This course taught me a lot about using JavaScript.
3.   We were able to explore web technologies, find what really excited us, and make awesome projects. These projects allowed us to explore what the top tech companies are using for their web apps and gain experience in them.

What do you suggest to improve this course?

1.
2.   I don't think this works well as a project-based course, and I think the instructor agrees. Considering that about half the quarter was spent learning to use the tools we would need to write the applications to begin with, it might be better if this course had more prerequisites.
3.

Comment on the grading procedures and exams

1.   Great
2.   The grading was more than fair, especially considering how difficult it was to get my applications to run.
3.   Fair, impartial, timely
